Why Your New Year’s Resolutions Don’t Stick - and What to Do About It

The excitement of a new year often brings with it a fresh sense of hope and determination.
We set ambitious New Year’s resolutions, promising ourselves we’ll finally achieve that goal we’ve been dreaming about.
But guess what: within a few weeks only, we’re back to square one.
And the resolutions we swore we’d keep?
They start to feel like another forgotten wish...
Sounds like a familiar issue?
You’re not alone.
In fact, studies show that around 80% of New Year’s resolutions fail by February.
But what if I told you that the reason these goals often slip away isn’t because you’re lazy, or lacking willpower?

-> you are likely not yet aligning your goals with what truly motivates you

Most resolutions focus on external changes - losing weight, saving more money, spending more time with loved ones...
But many of these are surface-level goals that don’t tap into the deeper “why” behind them. Without this emotional connection, our subconscious mind doesn’t prioritize these goals.
And before we know it, we’ve fallen back into old habits.
So, what’s missing?

The key to success lies in working with your brain - specifically your subconscious part of the brain, also called subconscious mind.
You might or might not yet know, that your subconscious mind controls the majority of your behaviors, thoughts, and emotions.
So, if a goal doesn’t resonate emotionally, your subconscious mind will work against it, often without you even realizing it.
When you set a goal that excites you at a deeper level, it becomes easier to take consistent action and stay motivated.
